Tom Buckner, President and Chief Executive Officer
Tom Buckner is a graduate of Grove City College and has a Master of Science in Aviation Systems from University of Tennessee . He has spent the majority of his career working in the defense industry, most recently for The O’Gara Group. He has made Ibis Tek into a market leader that provides a diverse portfolio of security, safety and defense products and services to commercial and government organizations worldwide.
John Buckner, Executive Vice President
Mr. Buckner co-founded Ibis Tek LLC in 1999 and today leads the company in operational excellence. Mr. Buckner graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1971 and continued a military career retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Buckner received an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Paul Bartock, Vice President Army Programs
Mr. Bartock joined the company in 2008 and has over 30 years experience in the Defense Business sector. He brings extensive experience in Manufacturing, Production Control, Estimating/Contracting, and Program Management to include 10 years as Director of Program Management for the Up-Armored High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).
Rachel Berglund, Vice President Commercial Products Group
Ms. Berglund joined the company in 2006 as Vice President of Commercial Products to develop business opportunities and manage operations for the commercial products business. Her role is to set strategic direction and further develop business opportunities. Ms. Berglund earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems and Statistics from Ferris State University. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Berglund held business development positions within commercial products industry including key positions with Adidas.
Jeff Campbell, Vice President Manufacturing
In 2006, Mr. Campbell was appointed to Vice President Manufacturing to direct and lead manufacturing efforts for the company. Mr. Campbell received an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the State University of New York. For over 20 years, Mr. Campbell has gained valuable experience in equipment design and industrial process automation.
Ray Kelly, Vice President Engineering
Mr. Kelly joined the company in 2006 as Program Manager for Specialty Vehicles. In 2008, Mr. Kelly was promoted to lead engineering Mr. Kelly received an undergraduate degree in engineering, an M.B.A. and an M.S.E.E. from Youngstown State University. Mr. Kelly has extensive experience in product development at technology driven companies.
Harry Kramer, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kramer joined the company in 2006 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2008. Mr. Kramer received an undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Duquesne University. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Kramer spent 15 years as Financial Controller.
John Owens, Vice President Operations
Mr. Owens was named to Vice President of Operations in 2008 leading the organization in its continued growth. Mr. Owens received an undergraduate degree in marketing from The University of Massachusetts. From 1992 to 2007, Mr. Owens held senior level Business Development roles for Defense Industry contractors.
Jim Retter, Vice President Research and Development / Corporate Counsel
Mr. Retter joined the company in 2008 to manage legal affairs and lead research and development efforts. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Retter served as a nuclear research officer with the USAF, worked as Vice President-Engineering for a Teledyne company, worked as a Senior Computer Scientist for Computer Sciences Corporation, consulted in ballistic systems, and served as a partner in the intellectual property law firm of Ware Fressola. Mr. Retter earned undergraduate degrees in physics and mathematics from Duke University, a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Connecticut, and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Bill Rosemeyer, Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Rosemeyer joined the company in 2006 to manage business development of the Commercial Products Group. In 2008, Mr. Rosemeyer was promoted to Vice President of Business Development for Military Programs. Mr. Rosemeyer received undergraduate degree in finance/marketing from Duquesne University. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Rosemeyer directed sales/marketing efforts in the telecommunication industry.
