About Ibis Tek
Ibis Tek was formed as a veteran owned LLC in 1999 and manufactures and markets a range of military and security products. Ibis Tek manufactures ballistic glass assemblies and accessories for military and personal security vehicles, such as an innovative HMMWV Spare Tire Carrier, HMMWV Tow Bar and Transparent Armor Systems. Our flagship products are the JACKAL and 5501 Rapid Response Vehicles, specialty "stealth" vehicles with remote controlled weapons stations. We take commercial light trucks and sport utility vehicles and modify them with a concealed remote controlled weapons station and other unique equipment. Ibis Tek then integrates its weapons systems into these modified vehicles with day and night vision systems. The company is also working on a non-lethal version for crowd control. A wide array of specialized equipment such as thermal imagers, camera surveillance systems, navigation systems, and a myriad of communication packages can be fitted and installed into the JACKAL and 5501 RRV to meet the sophisticated and specialized needs of our worldwide customers.
Ibis Tek, LLC has issued and pending patents for various components of personal protection vehicles and after market accessories to military tactical vehicles. Our components provide, for example, "stealth operation" and precision fire with Fire-On-The-Move capabilities. Ibis Tek is proud of its participation in classified programs such as Long Term Armor Solution (LTAS) that will result in greater protection for our combat personnel.
