Program Manager
Position Responsibilities
The Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing and technical performance of development and manufacturing programs. With responsibility for participating in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes for private and governmental customers, the Program Manager also coordinates proposal preparation including the plans, specifications and financial conditions of the contracts.

The Program Manager develops new business and expands the product line. A major responsibility of this position is ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules, resolving program concerns and coordinating and directing the work of colleagues from various departments who are assigned to program development. The Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget and acts as advisor to the team regarding projects, tasks and operations.

Position Requirements
A Bachelors Degree in Engineering is preferred, MBA is desired.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacture of wheeled or tracked military vehicles or related technical industry such as the heavy truck industry.
A strong focus and discipline to a process and process improvement.

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the vehicle manufacturing field. The experience and judgment to accomplish goals. Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks. A creative spirit with the ability to see the big picture and make adjustments as necessary. A results driven attitude with a track record for successful outcomes. Experience working with governmental agencies. A prepared and organized work style with responsibility for day to day operations of one or more programs. The ability to work with diverse groups including all levels of staff and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate objectives and develop strategies. Highly developed interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work any shift as required. Position may require travel periodically.
