Ibis North

Located in East Butler, Pennsylvania, Ibis North is housed in a 40,000 sq foot facility of which 32,000 sq ft is dedicated to the manufacturing of 8-12 different armored glass products. The remaining 8,000 sq feet of space is used for the construction of all shipping crates that leave the facility.

Ibis North has an automated assembly line devoted to the HMMWV glass family of products, which includes the M1114 Standard windows, M1114 VEE windows, M1151 Standard windows and M1151 VEE windows. The automated line consists of five (5) Fanuc Robots, one (1) automated riveter, one (1) temperature and humidity controlled cure oven and numerous Smart Logic conveyors. This thoroughly automated line has the capacity to produce 200 fully assembled, inspected and crated units in an 8 hour period.

In addition to the automated line, Ibis North also has 10 manual lines designated to various armored glass products, which includes glass for RG-32 and RG-33 MRAP assemblies. The present output of these lines is 150 completed RG-32 assemblies and 100 RG-33 assemblies in an 8 hour period. Ibis North also manufactures windows and prototypes for MAK Kits, PAMI, ARVA and Textron.

Ibis North employs approximately 60 people in and around the Butler, Pennsylvania area.
