Spare Tire Carriers

Simple design allows crewmembers to safely raise and lower spare tire. 

Ibis Tek Spare Tire Carriers (STCs) are an essential accessory for tactical wheeled vehicles.  The STCs include a mechanical assist feature to simplify the removal of spare tire and replacement of damaged tire. 

In 2011, the Ibis Tek Spare Tire Carrier was tested and approved by TACOM.  The system swings away from vehicle to permit operation of tailgate without obstruction.  In addition to our approved HMMWV STC, Ibis Tek has supported OEMs and USG on development of similar solutions for other tactical wheeled vehicles to include MRAPs and JLTV.
